I think that this space has to be a free speech space where we can have real in-depth debates…
Like, for example: round neck or V neck?
Most of you have a definite idea about it and your opinions are often irrevocable.
Both for men and women, round neck sweaters are rather sports, relaxed. You prefer wearing it with a white t-shirt rather than with a shirt that would be too “stiff”. Hybrid version: boat collar, pleasing everybody, and which really doesn’t go well with a T-shirt.
The V neck sweater, wore directly on the skin, highlights beautiful chests, it is sexy and a bit sophisticated. For men it has become very (too) ordinary. You might prefer the iconic Jersey polo shirt to fit the spirit of the time. We love the double collar when you wear it over a shirt.
There are also the fervent opponents to the rollneck… They feel bundled up, oppressed, and prefer the combo round or V neck and scarf, more flexible facing ever changing temperatures.
And what about the cardigan in all that? Unbeatable, it is the unquestionable winner in the mesh fight. It leaves room for your style and allows you to have fun… And having fun with fashion, at Victoire, it is really what we do best!
