This winter, for the design of our shops’ windows we gave carte blanche to our painter friend Caroline Matteoli. Between Caroline and Victoire it is way back… here is her interview.

I have been a customer at Victoire for 30 years now.Like you, I love colours, difference and originality. All these years of creative thinking led me to always challenge myself to do something new. That is why I enjoy creating again and again with new subjects. I worked on different themes: New York, trees, Morocco, the roofs of Paris…
What is your inspiration for Victoire? Your link with the brand?
For the boutique windows, we worked with Camille as a team.I was inspired by the new autumn/winter collection, which is beautiful !!!I recently started working on a new medium, which is the Washi paper (a Japanese type of paper)…
What are you working on right now? Where can we see your work?
I am sending my work on Washi paper to Tokyo next week. It will open new perspectives for me !!!I hope I will be able to confirm a new exhibition this spring. And, of course, you can come meet me and visit my workshop by appointment.
