The holidays are over, and yet I cannot resist sharing with you this little extra day of sunshine…
No, it is not about a picture of my family and I at the Macumba Club in Acapulco.
It was Tuesday, July, 18th, at La Garde Freinet, it was 38°C (but it felt more like 48°C with a cashmere sweater or a coat on) and it was our shooting for the men and women winter 2023 collection.
The day started early at 5AM because of the heat expected during the day.
There were three fairies that help me all year long with the shootings, the website, and the social media: Clara, Morgane, and Virginie. There was also Francky “from Saint-Tropez” our favorite stylist for men. There were Patricia and Manu, respectively, behind and in front of the camera…
There were my children and their friend Jeanne, our little imps full of good will. Aya, my mother, who took care of the kitchen and prepared delicious meals adapting to the different regimes in our joyful group.
And most of all, there was Mickey, my ninety-three-year-old grandfather. For two years now, he has been welcoming us with his kindness, his joy, … and his outspokenness!
Here, thanks to every single of these people, one part of the new collection is online today. And we are really pleased to share our work with you.
