But enough of chatting. Last week, we photographed our new IKAT capsule freshly arrived from India.
Yes, I know, India is far away and manufacturing far away is not really in the air of time... But some weaving techniques and hand-made dyes have only survived over there.
It all starts in our Parisian workshop. We fell in love with a wild silk IKAT, a hand-made weaving beauty whose unique know-how can only be Indian. Its colors too: subtle, melted, luminous...
We decided to make skirts, dresses and tops.
We mix it with double-sided Italian wool, hand-made cotton embroideries, gros-grain finishes...
And the caftan coat was.
