A crystalline turquoise pool. A fresh and invigorating bath. An immaculate white swimsuit, hair plastered down. Romy gets out of the water, sensual, under Alain’s eyes filled with desire… Then she dries herself with an old and frayed terry cloth towel, lying by the pool.
Do you imagine?
No more myth. No more pool, no cliffs, no love at first sight, no summer, no white swimsuit, and tanned skins…
This is why we created the perfect “bathrobe”.
Otherwise, called poncho or cape, traditionally made of terry cloth, this hybrid accessory first appeared on Australian and Californian beaches. Beautiful and muscular surfers use to discreetly change their clothes… and avoid any riot.
At Victoire, we called it a “bathrobe” with a very simple idea in mind: being chic all the time. Honeycomb, embroidered pockets, Romy would have worn it in white; I prefer it in orange, and it also exists in lime.
For men too, there is also the total “the beach” chic look: the perfect swimsuit, a beautiful, weaved and thick fouta, a sunhat with its matching bag…
After all, either getting out of the bath or in life in general, you always need to be careful how you go out.
Enjoy swimming,
Camille
