Pop, flashy, neon, fluorescent… Breaking news: the 1980s are back!
Like everything else, fashion is in constant renewal. It is the 20 years
cycle rule: trends come and go, and come back again, “same but different”.
This is the occasion for me to introduce you to our favorite knit
creator for women this season, the Italian Fabrizio Del Carlo.
We discovered them in Milan, and we fell for these sweaters of “the
Third Kind” (the movie reference is from 1977 but defines what we saw).
Neon threads, hypnotic and eccentric colors mix… This winter, we
electrify our outfits like Madonna, but not to the point of being described as
a “disco ball”. At Victoire, even if we like differences, we know how to be
chic without shocking.
If you want to learn more about this, an exhibition just opened at the
Musée des Arts Décoratifs. The occasion for a little Parisian getaway, to work
on your moonwalk…
