A few weeks ago, I was reading an article in Vogue magazine which said that suede was definitely THE big trend of this winter: spotted on catwalks of the biggest names in fashion such as MIU MIU or Loewe and revered in streets all over the world…
With temperatures lowering, I think it is actually the perfect moment to let the animal come out. Since the dawn of mankind, suede is used for its warmth regulator qualities. Basically, it is like a second layer of skin, and it keeps you very warm in winter!
At Victoire, the stretch suede “legging” is a must-have in our collection for a long time now. You can wear it cosy mesh and pair of boots. It is available in timeless tones like taupe or “squirrel” but also in intense colours enhanced by the leather. Speaking of leathers, all come from Graulhet, in the South of France. Dear men, suede is everywhere all the time: coats (the famous aviator’s jacket, not to miss out on!), gloves… and, obviously, shoes! Suede shoes are THE chic and masculine coolness symbol. In winter, loafers without socks are OUT, revisited Clarks in an Italian style by Lo-White or laced boots by Panchic are IN. Careful, don’t forget to waterproof them, snow is coming!
