Go, go, go, it’s holidays time!
For Easter, we take a break wearing denim.
As you know, at Victoire, we love denim.
We love that it reminds of a freedom and adventure spirits, and the rebel attitude it brings in touch or for a full outfit.
Every season, we choose it to be flexible, even if we go against the trend of the very stiff Japanese canvas that are all the rage. But, for us, there is nothing worse than a denim fabric in which you can’t move easily.
To revisit denim is always a tedious work because almost everything has already been done. But, at Victoire, nothing stops us… Challenge accepted!
This summer, our denim has shading. We go back to the basics and we soak it in an indigo bath to give it style and flair.
Outside our collection too, we choose denim pieces that have character. In no way do we want to take the easy route.
We fall for example for the tie and dye and the oversized fringed shirt from Shaft.
At Victoire homme, we love the Bastoncino shirt with its overstitches and pearly buttons, Steve McQueen style. We also fall for the Italian jeans by Mason’s or PT and their perfect washed look, not too much but not too little.
Then, to wear denim, ready, set, go!
