If there is a debated celebration, it’s Halloween.
The most reactionary would say: “Yet again an American thing, which is only a reason to make us buy dumb plastic objects on A… (censored!!) like giant spiders or skulls with flicker eyes…” The pumpkin, it’s for soups!
Yet, all children today love this fest.
A sort of morbid fascination? I don’t think so, they are just kids who are thrilled about having enough candies for the next 10 years. And my dentist is rubbing her gloves in advance!
At Victoire, we are more “treat” than “trick”. Our thing is to learn to know you and dress you as close as possible to your style, the one that fits you and make you look beautiful. To disguise you, not for us! What makes us happy? Your smile when you go out of our shops: beautiful, honest, and true… Not with a fake super villain smile like The Joker. As for Mr Hyde, we find black to be sad, often common, without any pizazz, except maybe on red carpets, where it is always a star. We rather like his nice alter-ego, Dr Navy, more beautiful and more chic!
This weekend, at Victoire, there will be colors, fun, and sales at La Grande Braderie in Saint-Tropez and the Braderie des commerçants du Cap Ferret. And with the situation these days, it would be a shame to miss on a chance of partying, right?
