Red carpet dress code

Dress code sur tapis rouge
Since Tuesday, the Croisette has gotten heated: the Cannes Film Festival changed its dress code. The long trains that are creating a traffic jam on the red carpet and nudity considered “indecent” are all out…

I am having mixed feelings. Remember Charlotte Gainsbourg’s amazingly chic lace dress, Bella Hadid’s dress fabric “just transparent enough” … and Sophie Marceau beautiful breast… Glamour galore! However, you cannot deny either the slides of this exercise and all the influencers ready to do it all to have a good buzz…

What is for sure is that our celebrities must not be restrained. The red carpet is, and must remain, the temple of glamour, creativity, and chic. At Victoire, we think that in Cannes as in life, “life is too short to wear boring clothes”, and it is evident that this year’s outfits, on the red carpet, are flat, aren’t they?

The perfect example, our favourite theme this summer with which you won't go unnoticed. In India, “clamp dye” motives are available in all colours and are put on papers, all unique, that are used to wrap gifts. Papers became prints, and you are the gift.

Have a nice weekend,
Camille
