With Julie, we choose the accessories at the end of our purchasing work. The schedule imposes it, they come like the cherry on the cake, the final touch and no less essential to our selection.
And inevitably, season after season, there is always the famous bag dilemma…
Most of the time, we choose our favourite pieces. Nevertheless, we try not to break with the few golden rules we have…
First, never forget that the bag has a function of transporting all our stuff: it must then be handy, neither too big nor too little, with an adjustable strap (if possible) and must fasten. Then, there is the “limit price”, there is no way we are going to cross swords with big companies, let’s keep a clear focus, we will always be outweighed. Finally, we must yell spontaneously and with one voice: “Ah, this one, they don’t have it!”. Easy, isn’t it?
It is by following our little instructions that we discovered the Today bags. We like their minimalistic look, refined and timeless. Italian calfskin, perfect finishing touches, and suede colour to die for… Looking more closely, we also understand that, at Today, the perfection lies in the detail and most of all in the pleat. Every flap, every pocket is inspired by folding techniques — envelope, origami… Real small masterpiece of simplicity, thought to be worn, “day after day”. By the way, it is their name “day 1”, “day 2”… And our favourite, the “weekender”: the perfect bag for a short weekend on the go!
