Strange, strange… did you say strange?
I don’t know about you, but I find that the Christmas spirit has a hard time taking hold this year. It is already December 13th; it is high time!
For our part, Santa Claus came early.
Last Tuesday, the entire small and joyful Victoire family united in my home. An “upcycled” Christmas tree decorated with knots made from fabrics from ancient collections, a quick meal “chic and without fuss” made by one of our most loyal client (@annezechef) and, of course, a secret Santa. The secret Santa is this tradition that consists in giving a present to someone, not knowing specifically who in advance, without going over a certain price limit. And this is how you end up with a multi-socket. And at the same time, a multi-socket always comes handy…
Newcomers, old-timers, young people, “less” young ones, a recent retiree… A merry little gang who shares with me the Victoire values: colour, kindness, respect, generations mix… And who loves, in the face of all opposition, uniting and partying (even singing karaoke) together.
All of this fills me with emotions. First, pride of having known how to (and managed to) keep this strange family together, the one created by my father Gilles, our patriarch. And an immense joy in feeling the bond that unite us. From us to you…
Have a nice weekend,
Camille
